Wedding in Wales

Back from a wedding at the Treowen Manor House in Wales

About Treowen

A Noble Mansion. It occupies a commanding situation from whence are surveyed some of the most interesting scenes in Monmouthshire… A correspondent dignity pervades the whole of the interior. A staircase two yards wide, of 72 steps, with balustrades, the newels on the quarterspaces two feet round, the whole in solid oak, which still remains perfect, stands unrivalled in the Kingdom.

Back from Copenhagen

I’m back from Copenhagen with a few pictures made with my new 10-22mm lens. Not as sharp as a L-series lens but good enough.

Copenhagen

Copenhagen (København) is the capital of Denmark and its most populous city, with an urban population of 1,213,822 (as of 1 January 2012) and a metropolitan population of 1,931,467 (as of 1 January 2012). With the completion of the transnational Øresund Bridge in 2000, Copenhagen has become the centre of the increasingly integrating Øresund Region. Within this region, Copenhagen and the Swedish city of Malmö are growing into a combined metropolitan area. Copenhagen is situated on the islands of Zealand and Amager.
