Just back from Cuba with a few pictures

Crossing the border from Botswana to Zambia. Pure chaos. Afternoon at the Victoria Falls with their mystic full-round rainbow.

Day drive to the Chobe river. Damn the roads are bad. Evening cruise on the river. Spotted: crocodiles, hippos, elephants and more.

Going back from the delta in the morning next to a short walk, evening flight over the delta. A must. Spotted: lots of elephants, amazing landscapes. Temperature is rising.

Full day in the delta. Morning walk and evening cruise on the mokoro. Spotted: hippo. Beautiful traditional songs from our guides at night.

Going into the Okavango delta. Evening walk and a bit warmer night thanks to the vegetation. 2 mokoro-hours away from Maun but still get mobile service.

Day drive to Maun at the north of Botswana. Still cold.

Day drive to Botswana. Main cities look like North America – just as in South Africa – but the countryside is more authentic yet sadly poor. Night at camp near Gaborone. Freezing cold.

Morning drive back to Johannesburg, tour of Soweto in the afternoon – where Maseratis drive next to misery –

Game drive in the Kapama private reserve in the morning. Spotted: giraffes + baby, zebras, lions, buffalos, and flirting (!) elephants + babies. Drive to Graskop through Blake River Canyon. Beautiful view from God’s window and a quick stop in Pilgrim’s rest.
